Before the end of the year we hope to launch a working prototype we can invite public servants to at Articles.alpha.canada.ca.
The prototype will allow Government of Canada employees to Request a new GC Articles Collection site for their own purposes using the contact-us form.
This Prototype collection is very limited but features:
- Bilingual Publishing of pages and articles to your collection site found on the GC Articles we application
- A “What you see is what you get” (WYSIWYG) Editor with drafts that shows what the page you are creating will look like before it gets published.
- A Role based access control (RBAC) system allowing you to invite your GC Co-workers to collaborate on the collection site with you
- An integration with GC Notify where GC Article allows users to collect emails with a subscription in the editor. Just by dragging onto the page the send an update to the collected emails later from the GC Articles dashboard!
